The audience was convinced that Agnaldo Souto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Youri Theunissen was relentless in the 2nd minute of the game. In the 6th minute, Real Knit United's Serafim Bastos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Youri Theunissen. Youri Theunissen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Real Knit United's Youri Theunissen threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Agnaldo Souto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Real Knit United fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Altamira SS booed when Real Knit United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, João Vítor da Mata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Youri Theunissen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Youri Theunissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Souto in the 22nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Youri Theunissen. That made the score 5-0 after 23 minutes of play. Agnaldo Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Youri Theunissen having to interfere. Youri Theunissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Youri Theunissen was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Serafim Bastos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Serafim Bastos really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. Youri Theunissen made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Vítor da Mata in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes, João Vítor da Mata made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Altamira SS's Youri Theunissen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Agnaldo Souto came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Real Knit United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo Souto couldn't finish the play. It was a penalty for Altamira SS! 45 minutes in the game, Agnaldo Souto dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The Real Knit United fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the game, Real Knit United's João Vítor da Mata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Youri Theunissen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Youri Theunissen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agnaldo Souto went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Agnaldo Souto scored 12-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Youri Theunissen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Youri Theunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor da Mata in the 67th minute of play. Rodolfo Pena hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Souto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Youri Theunissen having to make a save. Youri Theunissen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor da Mata in the 74th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Agnaldo Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Altamira SS's Youri Theunissen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 92nd minute, Dorian Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 minutes, Murilo Sergipano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altamira SS and the Real Knit United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Altamira SS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Knit United:s goal. In the 97th minute, Dedé Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Youri Theunissen. Altamira SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 15-0.
