Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Van Dijk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amílton de Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Urtsin Azcarate went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Jorg Pieters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Carioca during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Goblins F.C.'s Willian Carioca got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jorg Pieters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Amílton de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Esquipula Almansa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan. Shen Yi Yuan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Igor Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorg Pieters, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute, Felipe Van Dijk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorg Pieters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Amílton de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jorg Pieters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amílton de Barros having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edinho Pimenta made a kick off. The supporters of Goblins F.C. booed when Dínamo de Mauá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esquipula Almansa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igor Gilabert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Shen Yi Yuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shen Yi Yuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esquipula Almansa in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Dínamo de Mauá's goalkeeper Amílton de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Urtsin Azcarate. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dínamo de Mauá's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorg Pieters was slow to take the kick. During this time Goblins F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Goblins F.C.'s Jorg Pieters to fire away a dangerous shot which Amílton de Barros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Shen Yi Yuan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esquipula Almansa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Walmyr Prestes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Goblins F.C.'s Shen Yi Yuan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Cearense in the 73rd minute of play. Murilo Cearense shot a long shot in the 73rd minute and a light blocked Shen Yi Yuan hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-1. 75 minutes into the match, Dínamo de Mauá's goal looked a bit too open when Urtsin Azcarate came free, but Amílton de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walmyr Prestes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes, Dínamo de Mauá's Murilo Cearense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dínamo de Mauá reached it. Agostinho Saraiva charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agostinho Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dínamo de Mauá's Roger Mello was substituted for Paulo Toledo. Amílton de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urtsin Azcarate in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Gilabert in the 86th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Edinho Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shen Yi Yuan. Goblins F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinho Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
