In the 5th minute of the match Flávio Capixaba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson da Silveira skillfully saved the ball. Nelson da Silveira came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Décio Dionísio. But to his dismay, Décio Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nelson da Silveira came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Gil Zonta. But to his dismay, Gil Zonta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Zonta in the 14th minute of play. The Social Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelson da Silveira should have stopped the shot. When Saiko FC's Gil Zonta in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Social Futebol Clube's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Bati scored 0-5 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nelson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Bati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Ismael Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Social Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelson da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Zonta in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Social Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Zonta came free, but Nelson da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Zonta scored 0-6 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nelson da Silveira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Paraibano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Zonta to strike the kick off in the second half. Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Bati in the 51st minute of play. Josué Gonçalves did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Nelson da Silveira 53 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Zonta got free with Nelson da Silveira in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitinho Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Josué Gonçalves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelson da Silveira came out and tried to block the shot, but Josué Gonçalves slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 63rd minute. Ismael Aparecido might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Sabóia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Aparecido ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Social Futebol Clube booed when Saiko FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Bati didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson da Silveira made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Flávio Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute Josué Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson da Silveira came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati. But to his dismay, Gabriel Bati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The Social Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saiko FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
