Vigur Arnleifsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Nelson da Silveira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, FC Barcelona's Nelson da Silveira threw himself towards the right post 67 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marijón Úlfarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vigur Arnleifsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Nelson da Silveira made a huge save. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Brandur Sighvatsson hit a great ball. Nelson da Silveira was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Vigur Arnleifsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. FC Barcelona's Hjálmtýr Bergsson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The FC Barcelona fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when FC Barcelona's Vigur Arnleifsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lúter Óttarsson didn't quite understand what happened when in the 87 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 93 minutes of play, FC Barcelona's Vigur Arnleifsson made it 0-13 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson da Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 96th minute, João Vítor de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Social Futebol Clube's Nelson da Silveira got control of the ball when Vigur Arnleifsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Barcelona's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
