The audience was convinced that Joélson dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristóvão Carioca was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Joélson dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Carioca having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pirapitingui SC's Nico Neiva got a free kick in the 17th minute. A collision led to EC Rodrigus MZ getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valdir de Brito hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson dos Santos in the 25th minute of play forced Pirapitingui SC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EC Rodrigus MZ's Di Feng Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Cosme in the 30th minute of play. The supporters of EC Rodrigus MZ booed when Pirapitingui SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nico Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, EC Rodrigus MZ's Natã Braga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristóvão Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdir Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the game, Joélson dos Santos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Cristóvão Carioca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The wind increased when Joélson dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. Di Feng Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cosme in the 51st minute of the match. Cristóvão Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Pirapitingui SC's Cristóvão Carioca got control of the ball when Natã Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristóvão Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joélson dos Santos went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Pirapitingui SC defense, Joélson dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristóvão Carioca. The Pirapitingui SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristóvão Carioca should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded EC Rodrigus MZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pirapitingui SC.
