In the 23rd minute, Murilo de Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giuseppe Mota was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Shawn Harrad hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vinny Junior charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Radicals Girls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Treze CG the free kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbson de Andrade during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Radicals Girls booed when Treze CG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Caio Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vintilă Dorineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murilo de Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Treze CG's Vintilă Dorineanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Treze CG from getting a goal against them. Giuseppe Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo de Toledo in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Treze CG's Vintilă Dorineanu got control of the ball when Faruk Talaykut tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vintilă Dorineanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Caio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Radicals Girls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. Faruk Talaykut received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vintilă Dorineanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Faruk Talaykut slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 96th minute.
