Acácio Tinoco came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristóvão Carioca could save by the left post. Lúcio Alcântara hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Douglas Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Pirapitingui SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Cosme couldn't finish the play. Cristóvão Carioca was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Acácio Tinoco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Acácio Tinoco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Pirapitingui SC's zone, Jairo Quirino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristóvão Carioca came out of the goal and Jairo Quirino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Acácio Tinoco might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Carioca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acácio Tinoco ran back to his position shaking his head. Pirapitingui SC's Cássio Neto got his second yellow card of the match in the 34th minute. The referee ordered Cássio Neto off the ground. The supporters of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER booed when Pirapitingui SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Leonardo Paz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Tinoco to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Adhemar Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Douglas Cosme hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Adhemar Arce made a precise shot to the right of Cristóvão Carioca. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pirapitingui SC's goalkeeper Cristóvão Carioca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Adhemar Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER. BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER:s Ata Necmi showed great skill when he stopped Genílson de Andrade:s penalty. Luizinho de Toledo hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Acácio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
