Benê Pernambucano made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wei Fan Li. With a little luck, Palestra do Interior's Bruninho Vaz got control of the ball when João Augusto Linares tried to sneak it across the goal line. BraveHeart Warriors's Agnaldo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Godoi in the 25th minute of play. In the 92nd minute BraveHeart Warriors were awarded a corner. Thierry Henry went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Severino Paraíba got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruninho Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palestra do Interior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
