Thierry Henry started the match with the kick off. James Novak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wei Fan Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Ahmet Davut Ilgıt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wieslaw Marud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agnaldo Guimarães having to make a save. BraveHeart Warriors's Agnaldo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wieslaw Marud in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to BraveHeart Warriors getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Wei Fan Li hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Wieslaw Marud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Agnaldo Guimarães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, Wieslaw Marud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Davut Ilgıt might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over James Novak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Davut Ilgıt ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wieslaw Marud in the 25th minute of play forced BraveHeart Warriors's goalkeeper Agnaldo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BraveHeart Warriors getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Benê Pernambucano hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Viorel Neicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Carlsberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Viorel Neicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agnaldo Guimarães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wieslaw Marud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ahmet Davut Ilgıt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Novak having to interfere. James Novak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Henry in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wieslaw Marud to strike the kick off in the second half. Gavril Sichitiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Agnaldo Guimarães made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Davut Ilgıt in the 56th minute of play forced FC Carlsberg's goalkeeper James Novak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, BraveHeart Warriors's Agnaldo Guimarães got control of the ball when Viorel Neicu tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Carlsberg made a substitution. Lothaire Matthäus replaced Henrique Casado. In the 62nd minute FC Carlsberg were awarded a corner. Lothaire Matthäus went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in BraveHeart Warriors's zone, Adrían Addi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Guimarães came out of the goal and Adrían Addi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Carlsberg were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after BraveHeart Warriors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lothaire Matthäus took the corner. Agnaldo Guimarães was a little too slow when Emanuel Petrulean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-2. Wei Fan Li kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Viorel Neicu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Agnaldo Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Carlsberg. After 90 minutes FC Carlsberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thierry Henry who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Thierry Henry got away a dangerous shot. Despite this James Novak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, BraveHeart Warriors's Nuno Sabóia got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, BraveHeart Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Neicu came free, but Agnaldo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, FC Carlsberg's Gavril Sichitiu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agnaldo Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Agnaldo Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrían Addi in the 97th minute.
