The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Gato Morto:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ekzema F.V.:s goal. Gato Morto:s Patrick Arantes showed great skill when he stopped Rafa Mangueira:s penalty. After having played for 6 minutes, Timoteo Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Timoteo Estevez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patrick Arantes, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Lopez in the 10th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Ximenez Cayuso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ekzema F.V.'s Luisinho Toscano to a score. 2-0 in the 14th minute. If Timoteo Estevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, Gato Morto's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Estevez came free, but Patrick Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Estevez in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Arantes saved Gato Morto from getting behind. Timoteo Estevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Ximenez Cayuso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelinho Lopez's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Lopez came free, but Ximenez Cayuso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ekzema F.V.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tihomir Donevski was slow to take the kick. During this time Gato Morto's players had a chance to rest. 30 minutes into the game, Marcelinho Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ximenez Cayuso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Paul Birkendahl. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Lopez in the 40th minute of play forced Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Ximenez Cayuso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gato Morto's Patrick Arantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Gato Morto from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrézinho Velloso during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gato Morto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Andrézinho Velloso hit a great ball. Ekzema F.V.'s Arí Cestarolli was substituted for Andrzej Koperski. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Gato Morto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrézinho Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Piearres to strike the kick off in the second half. Patrick Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Piearres in the 53rd minute of play forced Gato Morto's goalkeeper Patrick Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ximenez Cayuso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Lopez in the 56th minute of the match. Lisandro Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Lisandro Piearres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Arantes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 68th minute Renan Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ekzema F.V.'s Ximenez Cayuso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Lopez in the 70th minute of play. Fausto Tajo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ximenez Cayuso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Patrick Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Piearres in the 76th minute of play. When Marcelinho Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Gato Morto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelinho Lopez couldn't finish the play. Gugu Vinhas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ximenez Cayuso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gugu Vinhas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ximenez Cayuso came out and tried to block the shot, but Gugu Vinhas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 92nd minute. Marcelinho Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Ximenez Cayuso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ekzema F.V. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
