The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 18 minutes into the match, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Adalberto Valadares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Adalberto Valadares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of A.F. Pindamonhangaba protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Adalberto Valadares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Arantes in the 33rd minute of play forced A.F. Pindamonhangaba's goalkeeper Gernando Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Bastioes EC's Mustafa Haydar Taci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gernando Guerra. Gernando Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. A.F. Gernando Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Figueiredo in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Bastioes EC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gernando Damião hit a great ball. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Juninho Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Igor Marinho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun. But to his dismay, Lorenzo Osasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The A.F. Pindamonhangaba support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
