The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Corneliu Lupu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corneliu Lupu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Usama Bolt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alim Karaman got free with Durval Marinho in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, Stig-Ove Möller had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Christini. Edson Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Ove Möller was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Ove Möller in the 81st minute of play. Durval Marinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dawid Gruchacz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 83 minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Karaman to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes Edson Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Tepedino who took care of the corner kick. Relyn Futebol Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Heleno de Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Durval Marinho, making the score, 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Edson Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Relyn Futebol Clube.
