With his leg A.J. 韩文海 managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Grêmio Bulls's Kauan de Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Joinville Esporte Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastião Tróia was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Bulls's players had a chance to rest. Sebastião Tróia made a great header on Grêmio Bulls's corner, it was just that Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 managed to reach the ball for a save. Kauan de Andrade's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but A.J. 韩文海 firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maadan 张正乐 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maadan 张正乐 having to make a save. With a little luck, Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 got control of the ball when Mauro Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benjamin Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amauri Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maadan 张正乐. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Maadan 张正乐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Lara in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Grêmio Bulls getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kauan de Andrade hit a great ball. Celso Furtado hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Grêmio Bulls's Maadan 张正乐 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Lara in the 37th minute of play. Joinville Esporte Clube's Benjamin Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Maadan 张正乐, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Jacinto got free with Maadan 张正乐 in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Aílton Melo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Maadan 张正乐 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A.J. 韩文海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowen Doherty in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Grêmio Bulls's Maadan 张正乐 got control of the ball when Amauri Vieira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Grêmio Bulls's Wei Shu Gang was substituted for Mauro Sena. In the 67th minute Jerry Uchiha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maadan 张正乐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerry Uchiha took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maadan 张正乐. Maadan 张正乐 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Joinville Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jerry Uchiha hit a great ball. Joinville Esporte Clube's Amauri Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, Grêmio Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Lehen to maneuver through the defense. The Joinville Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Joinville Esporte Clube's Jerry Uchiha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Grêmio Bulls's Maadan 张正乐 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Uchiha in the 85th minute of play. In the 86thth minute of the game Cícero Sergipano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joinville Esporte Clube's A.J. 韩文海 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 88th minute Jerry Uchiha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maadan 张正乐 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Romulo Lehen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but A.J. 韩文海 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Grêmio Bulls's Cícero Sergipano in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville Esporte Clube's goalie prevented a goal. A.J. 韩文海 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wei Shu Gang in the 94th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Simão during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
