Leopoldo Naldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Zapala AFC booed when Recompou Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goalkeeper Prudencio Fidensio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Cruz. After 30 played minutes Zapala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Rico. After having played for 33 minutes, Leo Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recompou Storm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Fidensio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of Zapala AFC booed when Recompou Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Maria didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Recompou Storm's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Aguilera came free, but Leopoldo Naldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prudencio Fidensio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Efren in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Zapala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Aguilera to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amadeo Aguilera was the one to do the kick off. After 60 minutes, Jimeno Ignazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recompou Storm and the Zapala AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, Recompou Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Recompou Storm getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Damian Herrera hit a great ball. Leopoldo Naldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Xacintu went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Leo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Aguilera in the 93rd minute of play forced Recompou Storm's goalkeeper Leopoldo Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zapala AFC were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Recompou Storm's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Placido Jenaro took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Siro Xacintu got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Recompou Storm lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
