The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corralitos FC. After a defensive mix-up in Zapala AFC's zone, Delmiro Burni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Fidensio came out of the goal and Delmiro Burni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, Corralitos FC's goalkeeper Honorato Artaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Errando. Prudencio Fidensio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delmiro Burni went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Norberto Pitin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prudencio Fidensio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Segundo Leocadio kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corralitos FC's goalkeeper Honorato Artaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorato Artaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Remir in the 22nd minute of the match. Aquilino Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Corralitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Aguilera came free, but Honorato Artaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Zapala AFC's Geronimo Rico got a free kick in the 35th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Burni came free, but Prudencio Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Norberto Pitin was the one to do the kick off. Honorato Artaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Norberto Pitin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corralitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Pitin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Zapala AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Burni came free, but Prudencio Fidensio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute Corralitos FC were awarded a corner. Santo Bieito went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Corralitos FC's Santo Bieito to fire away a dangerous shot which Prudencio Fidensio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Delmiro Burni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Prudencio Fidensio having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Petrigai during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zapala AFC! After 69 minutes, Santo Bieito made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Zapala AFC's Prudencio Fidensio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Leocadio during the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute, Corralitos FC's Delmiro Burni ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Prudencio Fidensio. Prudencio Fidensio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Delmiro Burni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute Zapala AFC were awarded a corner. Placido Jenaro went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Zapala AFC booed when Corralitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 101st minute of the match Placido Jenaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Honorato Artaldo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Corralitos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
