Jeronimo Donzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Beti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Rodriguez in the 6th minute. With a little luck, papiylau fc's Arturo Beti got control of the ball when Mario Rodriguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Norberto Mercurio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored papiylau fc's protests and gave Norberto Mercurio a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes papiylau fc got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Mercurio. papiylau fc's Arturo Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Donzel in the 13th minute of play. Alejandro Natal came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by papiylau fc's Edgard Orland. But to his dismay, Edgard Orland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Anastasio Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Alejandro Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Orland, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Edgard Orland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Natal. La Naranja Oxidada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Orland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Tino in the 37th minute of play forced La Naranja Oxidada's goalkeeper Alejandro Natal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Orland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alejandro Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejandro Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiburcio Tino in the 43rd minute of the match. Tiburcio Tino took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Natal. Alejandro Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Donzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Natal was a little too slow when Hernan Pio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-5. If Edgard Orland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tiburcio Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Natal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Orland went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. La Naranja Oxidada's Alejandro Natal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiburcio Tino in the 82nd minute of play. Alejandro Natal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Mercurio went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Oxidada's zone, Edgard Orland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Natal came out of the goal and Edgard Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Naranja Oxidada's Alejandro Natal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save La Naranja Oxidada from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiburcio Tino in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Natal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to papiylau fc getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Norberto Mercurio hit a great ball.
