But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejandro Bladi couldn't finish the play. In the 8thth minute of the game Jeronimo Donzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Las Chicas Futboleras's Baldomiro Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Jeronimo Donzel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Socorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Donzel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Jeronimo Donzel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomiro Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well placed Jeronimo Donzel short distance shot in the 31st minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Alejandro Natal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Mario Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Naranja Oxidada's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Socorro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeronimo Donzel was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Natal having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Naranja Oxidada! Jeronimo Donzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Alejandro Natal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Alejandro Bladi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alejandro Natal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Las Chicas Futboleras's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ralondo came free, but Baldomiro Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
