Pupuno FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moises Jaunzuria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Barto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Leopoldo Tauro fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botija's protests and gave Leopoldo Tauro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Botija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Tauro to maneuver through the defense. Blair Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botija were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
