Rosendo Marcones was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Marcial Flor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marcial Flor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of LE MANS AFC booed when Paso de los Toros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Kaiet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Montxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Marcones having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Flor got free with Rosendo Marcones in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 19th minute of the match, Alvaro Astigar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rosendo Marcones saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Marcial Flor put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Marcones. A collision led to LE MANS AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alejo Telmo hit a great ball. Anier Erdiano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the game, Norberto Kaiet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paso de los Toros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LE MANS AFC the free kick. Marcial Flor had several of the LE MANS AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 47 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-1 score and a disappointed Rosendo Marcones as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isidoro Iturri made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Pascual Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paso de los Toros's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rosendo Marcones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Paso de los Toros's goalkeeper Jonathan Fero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Diaz. Alvaro Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosendo Marcones came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Paso de los Toros's Marcial Flor. But to his dismay, Marcial Flor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Marcial Flor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Marcones having to make a save. If Marcial Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Astigar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Marcones was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Rosendo Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Flor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paso de los Toros made a substitution. The audience held their breath when Norberto Kaiet in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rosendo Marcones's left hand side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Paso de los Toros fully deserved thier win.
