Murillo Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Tanio, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Santos Ciceron managed to get in a good position for a shot. LE MANS AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Ciceron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, one of Oliva FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 7 minutes, LE MANS AFC's Fernan Raymond got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Murillo Cordeiro. Cayetano Diaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Murillo Cordeiro made a huge save. The supporters of LE MANS AFC booed when Oliva FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Piarres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Iturri in the 16th minute of the match. Murillo Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Iturri in the 19th minute of play. Rosendo Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Oliva FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Piarres to maneuver through the defense. Cayetano Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Cordeiro having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, LE MANS AFC's Isidoro Iturri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Murillo Cordeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isidoro Iturri might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murillo Cordeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isidoro Iturri ran back to his position shaking his head. 37 minutes into the game, Oliva FC's Remigio Arlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rosendo Marcones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cayetano Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Cordeiro having to interfere. If Isidoro Iturri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Isidoro Iturri made the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Diaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Cordeiro having to interfere. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Cayetano Diaz sped through Oliva FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Cordeiro. 4-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Isidoro Iturri elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Diaz in the 79th minute of play forced Oliva FC's goalkeeper Murillo Cordeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amador Piarres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Oliva FC got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Arlo. Isidoro Iturri struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Murillo Cordeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LE MANS AFC. Cayetano Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Murillo Cordeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oliva FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
