Talita's Miguel Rodas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Bastia in the 19th minute of play. Aquilino Gaueko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Bermund in the 27th minute of play. Gogo Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Gaueko having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Igor Selatse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Soto the free kick. A collision led to Talita getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Igor Selatse hit a great ball. After 35 played minutes, Soto's Melquiades Dantae shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miguel Rodas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Soto reached it. Jeremy Bentham charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremy Bentham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Jeremy Bentham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Rodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Bastia in the 38th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time.
