After some careless play in the Paso defense, Cristobal Cresitobalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso Precioso. The Paso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Precioso should have stopped the shot. Froilan Enekoitz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Maria Laura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Precioso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paso's zone, Cristobal Cresitobalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Precioso came out of the goal and Cristobal Cresitobalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celso Precioso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Alta Magia booed when Paso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maria Laura to strike the kick off in the second half.
