If Dionisio Cefero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5 minutes into the match, Hereford FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Peruanton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Heriberto. Ivan Heriberto made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hipolito Peruanton would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ivan Heriberto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Hipolito Peruanton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 10thth minute of the game Gilberto Ascencio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gilberto Ascencio struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Silverio Laurendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hereford FC. 16 minutes into the match, Gilberto Ascencio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi. Silverio Laurendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Peruanton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Hipolito Peruanton made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ivan Heriberto sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Heriberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 26 played minutes Dionisio Cefero rounded Hereford FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 29th minute, Abelardo Gines hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Hereford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Heriberto came free, but Hipolito Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ivan Heriberto sped through Hereford FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hipolito Peruanton. After 42 minutes, Godfredo Arano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hereford FC and the Esrella Roja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Godfredo Arano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Hereford FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Angelo Cordeiro hit a great ball. The Esrella Roja FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Esrella Roja FC's Ivan Heriberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Horacio Urtungo put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Hipolito Peruanton. In the 65th minute Ivan Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Peruanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esrella Roja FC's Ivan Heriberto got a free kick in the 71st minute. Dionisio Cefero might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hipolito Peruanton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionisio Cefero ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Hereford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Heriberto came free, but Hipolito Peruanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dionisio Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave Esrella Roja FC a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ivan Heriberto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hereford FC's Hipolito Peruanton. 6-1. Adan Victoro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Heriberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Peruanton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hereford FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Peruanton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Esrella Roja FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
