Gaspar Su dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that Pastor Artal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Su was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Vladimiro Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 23 minutes, Cecilio Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zanjón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Artal might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gaspar Su. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Artal ran back to his position shaking his head. If Pastor Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Vladimiro Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes, Nicasio Felipo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laprida and the Zanjón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Laprida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicasio Felipo to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Su having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Laprida's zone, Hector Guipuzkoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaspar Su came out of the goal and Hector Guipuzkoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Artal in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Su saved Laprida from getting behind. Pastor Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Hector Guipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Sayveon in the 44th minute of play forced Laprida's goalkeeper Gaspar Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Laprida's Nicasio Felipo got a free kick in the 46th minute. 47 minutes in the game, Pastor Artal dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The Laprida players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zanjón FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Artal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of Laprida:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 54th minute there was a penalty for Zanjón FC. Geronimo Escobar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gaspar Su. 0-2. Gaspar Su didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Artal went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Artal in the 63rd minute of play forced Laprida's goalkeeper Gaspar Su to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vladimiro Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Pastor Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Su having to interfere. Gaspar Su made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Hector Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Pastor Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaspar Su was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Pastor Artal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pastor Artal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. With a little luck, Laprida's Gaspar Su got control of the ball when Pastor Artal tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Laprida getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Nicasio Felipo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Artal in the 100th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaspar Su saved Laprida from getting behind. Zanjón FC played a much better game than Laprida and deserved their victory. The Laprida players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
