Angelo Frasco helped the player get up and apologised. When Vladimiro Koldo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Zanjón FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Koldo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Zanjón FC's zone, Alejandro Cerilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Reno came out of the goal and Alejandro Cerilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Esperanza FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Angelo Frasco hit a great ball. Raul Reno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leo Lordi went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Leo Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliberto Martinez hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The wind increased when Alejandro Cerilo made the kick off in the second half. When Vladimiro Palban came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Zanjón FC fans jumped to their feet. After 67 minutes of play, Zanjón FC's Hector Guipuzkoa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Leo Lordi could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Raul Reno however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Artal in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Maties saved Esperanza FC from getting behind. The Zanjón FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Zanjón FC's Pastor Artal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Pastor Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pastor Artal struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Godofredo Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zanjón FC. 87 minutes into the match, Zanjón FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Cerilo came free, but Raul Reno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Vladimiro Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zanjón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Zanjón FC booed when Esperanza FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Artal in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Maties saved Esperanza FC from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Zanjón FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
