Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tobias Gaitan made the kick off which started today's match. If Tobias Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 9th minute of the match Gerardo Sotil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godofredo Maties skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Tobias Gaitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. riverjony's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Gaitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Maties breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severiano Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Godofredo Maties tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Lordi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Ramiro Ugaitz made a huge save. Ramiro Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Cerilo in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Cerilo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Ugaitz. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. In the 29th minute, Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramiro Ugaitz. Ramiro Ugaitz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Leo Lordi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alejandro Cerilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Lordi got free with Ramiro Ugaitz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Gaitan struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Godofredo Maties didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for riverjony. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejandro Cerilo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, riverjony's Eulalio Hunfredo got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes, Esperanza FC's Raimundo Barto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro Ugaitz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esperanza FC reached it. After 63 played minutes riverjony got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Bernat. 64 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's Raimundo Barto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Leo Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5-0 became the score in the 71st minute when Leo Lordi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alejandro Cerilo struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ramiro Ugaitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperanza FC. When Angelo Frasco fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esperanza FC's protests and gave Angelo Frasco a yellow card for diving instead. Angelo Frasco kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. A collision led to Esperanza FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Feliberto Martinez hit a great ball. Godofredo Maties acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 81st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jonatan Omero. Ramiro Ugaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Lordi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Leo Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Esperanza FC's Alejandro Cerilo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramiro Ugaitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Cerilo in the 97th minute of play forced riverjony's goalkeeper Ramiro Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Esperanza FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
