Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) After a rather tough play, Lugones's Arturo Montay got a free kick in the 10th minute. A collision led to Diablos Rojos getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Silvestre Godoy hit a great ball. Lugones's Melquiades Felo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 16th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Diablos Rojos. With a little luck, Diablos Rojos's Alfonso Lauren got control of the ball when Urbano Endira tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Lugones's Maximino Servando dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gilberto Montxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Goi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Urbano Endira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Montay came free, but Alfonso Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urbano Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Lauren having to interfere. Gilberto Montxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilario Goi in the 41st minute of the match. 2-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Maximino Servando elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ovando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Lauren. Diablos Rojos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cirilo Ovando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Gilberto Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Goi in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Bernabe Estevez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilberto Montxo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alfonso Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Endira in the 61st minute of the match. Lugones's Gilberto Montxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Lugones from getting a goal against them. Urbano Endira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Lauren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Gilberto Montxo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Diablos Rojos's Hilario Goi. But to his dismay, Hilario Goi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 81st minute, Oscar Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Arturo Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Maximino Servando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugones's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Servando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Lauren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Alfonso Lauren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lugones's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
