Alejandro Mateus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Lauren having to interfere. Hilario Goi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Lauren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Baraquiel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After the first half Real Palermo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Amancio Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Alfonso Lauren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Baraquiel took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Lauren. After a rather tough play, Diablos Rojos's Marcelino Fidensio got a free kick in the 66th minute. Silvestre Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Amancio Baraquiel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfonso Lauren, passed just outside the right post.
