With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melquiades Nardo in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Hanni saved V.Lynch from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Melquiades Nardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elvio Tiso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 88th minute of the match Tobias Gilen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tobias Gilen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
