In the 16th minute Domingo Galtero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Gomesano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 19 minutes into the game, when Fernan Flor put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Renca AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tambillos:s goal. The goalkeeper, Juan Remigio, was totally fooled by Tambillos's Matias Rosalio, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 24th minute, Domingo Galtero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victoriano Beltza came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Tambillos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Beltza couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Juan Remigio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With his leg Juan Remigio managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Tambillos's Astor Tauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Galtero in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Gomesano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renca AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nunez Tauro 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Matias Rosalio charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Rosalio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 45 minutes into the game, one of Tambillos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute there was a penalty for Renca AFC. Constantino Ibar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hilario Gomesano. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Galtero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Victoriano Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tambillos and the Renca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Beltza to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the game, Nunez Tauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Juan Remigio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Astor Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Juan Remigio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Matthew in the 67th minute of the match. Renca AFC's Juan Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Tauro in the 72nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Renca AFC's zone, Astor Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Remigio came out of the goal and Astor Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the game, Nunez Tauro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Juan Remigio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Astor Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Remigio having to interfere. 7-1 became the score in the 85th minute when Nunez Tauro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 88thth minute of the game Astor Tauro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Renca AFC's Juan Remigio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Astor Tauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Remigio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Renca AFC booed when Tambillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Beltza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilario Gomesano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Constantino Ibar. Tambillos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Renca AFC for a fine match.
