Spectators: 6550 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Nilton Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Lawrence in the 3rd minute of the match. Artemio Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Garoa's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Abelardo Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artemio Mendebal made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Elias Regis sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Cholila AFC's Everardo Lawrence sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nilton Maciel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Paulino Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Chaco Arg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Montrelle couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Ceferino Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cholila AFC's Artemio Mendebal got control of the ball when Augusto Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Cholila AFC's zone, Elias Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artemio Mendebal came out of the goal and Elias Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Mendebal having to interfere. Everardo Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton Maciel having to interfere. Elias Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Regis might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artemio Mendebal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Regis ran back to his position shaking his head. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ceferino Tartalo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Elias Regis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nilton Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Everardo Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cholila AFC fans jumped to their feet. In the 64thth minute of the game Elias Regis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cholila AFC's Artemio Mendebal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elias Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Mendebal having to interfere. Elias Regis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Mendebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chaco Arg FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cholila AFC the free kick. A collision led to Chaco Arg FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Elias Regis hit a great ball. Cholila AFC's Everardo Lawrence got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Elias Regis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Artemio Mendebal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Elias Regis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaco Arg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Regis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
