Augusto Lertxun hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Tartalo came free, but Aurelio Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ceferino Tartalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Aznaro was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Rumipal's Aurelio Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Tartalo in the 24th minute of play. Marcial Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Artemio Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Rayman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Tartalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Cholila AFC's Ceferino Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Tartalo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Aznaro saved Rumipal from getting behind. Aurelio Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Tartalo in the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes Rumipal got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Theobald. After 47 played minutes Cholila AFC got a freekick which was hit by Braulio Lorencio. Hermengildo Rayman took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artemio Mendebal. Artemio Mendebal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ceferino Tartalo made the kick off in the second half. Everardo Lawrence sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Rayman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artemio Mendebal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. If Hermengildo Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes, Marcial Blanco made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cholila AFC's Artemio Mendebal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Estebano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cholila AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumipal the free kick. Ubaldo Estebano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Artemio Mendebal had great luck who in the 74thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marcial Blanco from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hermengildo Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 81 minutes, Everardo Lawrence managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cholila AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Lawrence was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aurelio Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Lawrence in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Tartalo in the 85th minute of play forced Rumipal's goalkeeper Aurelio Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Everardo Lawrence notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Rumipal's Aurelio Aznaro. Aurelio Aznaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Hermengildo Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Dante Berdaitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Rumipal players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Cholila AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
