Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavio George started the match with the kick off. Tio Rico FC's Desiderio Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Mario Erasto made a huge save. Damian Farias might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Erasto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damian Farias ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Lev Davidovich's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Farias came free, but Mario Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Inocente came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Lev Davidovich's Zeledon Millrick. But to his dismay, Zeledon Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leonardo Inocente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio George in the 21st minute of play. Octavio George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Emilio Oliviero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tio Rico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lev Davidovich the free kick. In the 24th minute, Emilio Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Farias in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Damian Farias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tio Rico FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Farias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Erasto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Lev Davidovich getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Albino Lluques hit a great ball. Desiderio Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Erasto having to interfere. A hard shot 39 in the game by Desiderio Johans from a close distance when the talented Mario Erasto managed to make a qualified save. Lev Davidovich's players were relieved. Damian Farias struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Mario Erasto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tio Rico FC. In the 41st minute, Ciriaco Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desiderio Johans took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mario Erasto. Mario Erasto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Farias was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio George in the 54th minute of play forced Tio Rico FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Inocente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Lev Davidovich got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Pueblo. After 60 minutes, Damian Farias made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lev Davidovich's Mario Erasto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 66 played minutes Lev Davidovich got a freekick which was hit by Albino Lluques. Desiderio Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute of the match Ambrosio Nerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Erasto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Damian Farias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Erasto. Lev Davidovich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Farias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. If Damian Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desiderio Johans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio George fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. Leonardo Inocente came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lev Davidovich's Zeledon Millrick. But to his dismay, Zeledon Millrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Basilio Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Zeledon Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Inocente having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Lev Davidovich's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Farias came free, but Mario Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
