The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Freddy Clementi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddy Clementi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Millrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Octavio George's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Zander was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Freddy Clementi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Octavio George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Octavio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Zander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio George, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in nerazzurri's zone, Octavio George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Zander came out of the goal and Octavio George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Freddy Clementi made the kick off in the second half. Francisco Satordi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Mario Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, nerazzurri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Cresitobalo to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Zander having to interfere. Francisco Satordi charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Satordi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lev Davidovich's Zeledon Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute Octavio George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Conrado Cuarto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Erasto. Lev Davidovich's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Cuarto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Francisco Satordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lev Davidovich booed when nerazzurri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Lev Davidovich's Arsenio Playo to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Zander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. nerazzurri's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
