In a very dangerous position, a player in Dios Desconfederado fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Paredon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Ursino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Dios Desconfederado's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Sadurni came free, but Dante Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paredon FC's Lucio Dominguez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After a defensive mix-up in Dios Desconfederado's zone, Horacio Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Salomone came out of the goal and Horacio Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Felipe Ursino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Salomone came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Sadurni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 67th minute. Nicasio Muc's late challenge caught a Paredon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicasio Muc helped the player get up and apologised. Nicasio Muc hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Dios Desconfederado booed when Paredon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Dios Desconfederado's zone, Horacio Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Salomone came out of the goal and Horacio Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Salomone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Sadurni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Horacio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paredon FC's Horacio Sadurni got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paredon FC played a much better game than Dios Desconfederado and deserved their victory. The Dios Desconfederado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
