The referee ignored atlas's protests and gave Anastasio Lopes a yellow card for diving instead. After 3 played minutes atlas got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Lopes. The long shot by Eustaquio Darien in the 4th minute really tested Angelino Theodore's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a defensive mix-up in atlas's zone, Eustaquio Darien stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Theodore came out of the goal and Eustaquio Darien tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Sadurni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The goalkeeper, Angelino Theodore, was totally fooled by Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien, who 10 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Horacio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Theodore having to interfere. Eustaquio Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Angelino Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Horacio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind atlas's goalkeeper Angelino Theodore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Sebastian Pueblo fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored atlas's protests and gave Sebastian Pueblo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to atlas getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Sebastian Pueblo hit a great ball. Horacio Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Angelino Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Angelino Theodore managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Paredon FC's Felipe Ursino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the game, Mauricio Guillelme recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angelino Theodore. Mauricio Guillelme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Eustaquio Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Theodore having to interfere.

Angelino Theodore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Ursino in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Theodore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Horacio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Theodore having to interfere. Horacio Sadurni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Theodore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Angelino Theodore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mauricio Guillelme went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Eustaquio Darien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Angelino Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Theodore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Darien in the 74th minute of the match. After some careless play in the atlas defense, Lucio Dominguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelino Theodore. The atlas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Theodore should have stopped the shot. Paredon FC's Eustaquio Darien got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the game, Felipe Ursino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Angelino Theodore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Dominguez in the 89th minute of play forced atlas's goalkeeper Angelino Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Paredon FC's Lucio Dominguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelino Theodore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paredon FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
