The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Independiente FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of River United FC:s goal. Enzo Llorenc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Eustaquio Ongile made a huge save. Independiente FC's Eustaquio Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Bastia in the 11th minute of play. Paulino Bastia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Eustaquio Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Roque Bladi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Felipe Obano kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eustaquio Ongile made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Enzo Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. River United FC's Adan Fanuco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eustaquio Ongile but with some difficulty. Maximiliano Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ariel Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Independiente FC's Eustaquio Ongile got control of the ball when Enzo Llorenc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ongile had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roque Bladi. Marcial Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ipar having to interfere. Eustaquio Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Bastia in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Independiente FC's Felipe Obano got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Llorenc came free, but Eustaquio Ongile reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Paulino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Ongile saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, River United FC's Enzo Llorenc made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Marcones got free with Ariel Ipar in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Delmar Emenon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Emenon in the 72nd minute of play forced Independiente FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
