Alvaro Vergaray might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Ayala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Vergaray ran back to his position shaking his head. Norfolk City's Alessandro Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Panpili in the 23rd minute of play. Efrain Tome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Cecilio Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Luix's late challenge caught a Norfolk City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Luix helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Norfolk City booed when GoyoFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. With his leg Cecilio Ayala managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Norfolk City's Silverio Padro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 33 played minutes GoyoFC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Taurino. In the 34th minute of the match Igor Dorio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Ayala skillfully saved the ball. Cecilio Ayala was a little too slow when Efrain Tome got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. Silverio Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Cayetano Sotil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

54 minutes into the match, Efrain Tome had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cecilio Ayala. GoyoFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efrain Tome was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Cecilio Ayala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silverio Padro's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Jonas Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Padro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cecilio Ayala read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Silverio Padro struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Cecilio Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norfolk City. Silverio Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cecilio Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Gonzalo Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GoyoFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Gorka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alessandro Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Panpili in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute Silverio Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norfolk City were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing GoyoFC to leave the ground with a draw.
