Spectators: 7276 (Terracing: 5492, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 100) Ycuha AFC's Severiano Rico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulino Hegoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Lope having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Baldomiro Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomiro Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Lope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 minutes of play, LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's Paulino Hegoi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael Lope was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulino Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's Baldomiro Nardo got control of the ball when Isaias Rudolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Maureo in the 19th minute of play forced LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's goalkeeper Baldomiro Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's goalkeeper Baldomiro Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Rudolfo. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Hegoi in the 24th minute of play. Ycuha AFC's Everardo Jerold shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 26th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Baldomiro Nardo but with some difficulty. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Hegoi in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Paulino Hegoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael Lope. Ycuha AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Hegoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 35 minutes, Paulino Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulino Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Guido Florin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Lope was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. LAS ESTRELLAS DE BANFIELD's Paulino Hegoi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Paulino Hegoi made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Lope. Ycuha AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Hegoi was the one to do the kick off. Alejandro Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ismael Lope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Paulino Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Florin in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Paulino Hegoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Hegoi in the 60th minute of play. Celestino Tanio charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Tanio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ismael Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Hegoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 75 minutes, Paulino Hegoi made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ycuha AFC's zone, Baldomiro Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Lope came out of the goal and Baldomiro Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomiro Marquez got free with Ismael Lope in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulino Hegoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
