Spectators: 7341 (Terracing: 5508, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) Tiburcio Shepherd started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Hermengildo Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Arnaldo Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Rainerio in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolfo Banegas saved Cazador from getting behind. A collision led to Cazador getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Freddy Brion hit a great ball. Higinio Hori sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Rainerio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Chuchi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Higinio Hori's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Adolfo Banegas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Freddy Brion charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Brion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Freddy Brion hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A hard shot 32 in the game by Higinio Hori from a close distance when the talented Adolfo Banegas managed to make a qualified save. Cazador's players were relieved. Arnaldo Ticho came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cazador's Hermengildo Abecia. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Abecia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 40th minute Hermengildo Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnaldo Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Brion in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Desiderio Rainerio to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Raul Garaona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cazador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuchi the free kick. The supporters of Chuchi booed when Cazador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Shepherd in the 54th minute of play forced Chuchi's goalkeeper Arnaldo Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Dionisio Tiniebra put in a rough tackle. Ubaldo Tolino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Banegas having to interfere. If Tiburcio Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Chuchi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute of the match, Hermengildo Abecia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnaldo Ticho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Higinio Hori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Banegas having to interfere.
