Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Fabricio Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Nerio having to interfere. Elpidio Nerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Frasco in the 10th minute. Efrain Frasco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Elpidio Nerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Ciano in the 24th minute of play forced Cafayete FC's goalkeeper Conrado Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play, BULL DOG's Higinio Ciano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Arotza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elpidio Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabricio Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cafayete FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Vargas couldn't finish the play. Carlos Inguma's late challenge caught a Cafayete FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Inguma helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Inguma hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Higinio Ciano made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Fabricio Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Nerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Lopes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Cesar Rami fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Arotza having to interfere. BULL DOG's Elpidio Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Frasco in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BULL DOG's Carlos Inguma got a free kick in the 84th minute. Elpidio Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Fabricio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Chepe during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregorio Chepe hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
