Erasmo Niva hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Cafayete FC's Conrado Arotza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Bela in the 34th minute of play. Angelo Preciado made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Efrain Frasco sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Arotza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Estebano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Melchor Bela to strike the kick off in the second half. After 66 minutes, Lucio Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cafayete FC and the Wes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Cafayete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Preciado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Frasco in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Efrain Frasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wes's Angelo Preciado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Preciado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Frasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Miguel Estebano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wes's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Estebano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conrado Arotza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabricio Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angelo Preciado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Vargas ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Efrain Frasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafayete FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Frasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Preciado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabricio Vargas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Preciado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cafayete FC's Fabricio Vargas got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miguel Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of Wes's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Wes may have spent more time on the ball, but Cafayete FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
