After a rather tough play, Cúspide FC's Nicanor Ugutz got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mauro Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Astigar in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Astor Silbestre could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Mauro Chepe however easily saved by the left post. If Adan Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Dorio having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adan Astigar made the kick off in the second half. Mauro Chepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Astigar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cúspide FC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Cúspide FC's Victoriano Frascuelo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Victoriano Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 73 minutes into the game, Victoriano Frascuelo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nereo Dorio. Victoriano Frascuelo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mauro Chepe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Silbestre in the 77th minute of play. Victoriano Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Victoriano Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Cúspide FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. Nereo Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Ugutz in the 86th minute of the match. When Victoriano Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Cúspide FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Victoriano Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cúspide FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Dorio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nereo Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Frascuelo in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Cúspide FC's Victoriano Frascuelo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Dorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When the match was over Cúspide FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Famatina throughout the match.
