After a defensive mix-up in poncho FC's zone, Severo Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Truylos came out of the goal and Severo Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Feo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Francisco Truylos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Henric, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 20 minutes on the clock, Blas Umea commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of poncho FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Bicho Del Bichi:s goal. Primitivo Paulin shot the penalty kick right outside the post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Henric made a kick off. Severo Henric received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. El Bicho Del Bichi's Donato Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Muno in the 53rd minute of play. The El Bicho Del Bichi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Bicho Del Bichi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
