Raul Fanuco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Savier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes of play, Amaná FC's Jimeno Savier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Fanuco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Fanuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Lucero went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Celestino Iratxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Fanuco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Lucero in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Fanuco saved Barrilete Cósmico from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Oxarra in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Estavan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Lucero in the 30th minute of play forced Barrilete Cósmico's goalkeeper Raul Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Iratxo scored 0-4 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Fanuco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laureano Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Oxarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Hector Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Celestino Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, Barrilete Cósmico's Marcos Oxarra made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico booed when Amaná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Savier in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the game, Jimeno Savier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raul Fanuco. Jimeno Savier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Polentzi in the 68th minute of play forced Amaná FC's goalkeeper Hector Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barrilete Cósmico fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Barrilete Cósmico's Marcos Oxarra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 72nd match minute, Amaná FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ildefonso Polentzi during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ildefonso Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Laureano Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Laureano Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Amaná FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Savier. Laureano Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Estavan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Oxarra in the 86th minute of the match. Barrilete Cósmico's Laureano Domingues got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Amaná FC's zone, Laureano Domingues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Estavan came out of the goal and Laureano Domingues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Amaná FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amaná FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
