Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 110) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Celestino Iratxo made the kick off which started today's match. Celestino Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Black Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Savier in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Jimeno Savier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaná FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matera F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Matera F.C. booed when Amaná FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimeno Savier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Estavan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 19 minutes, Victorino Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matera F.C. and the Amaná FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Matera F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Victorino Sugoi hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Celestino Iratxo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Black Messias to make any attempt to save it. If Eusebio Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusebio Lucero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Black Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Estavan having to interfere. After 32 minutes of play, Matera F.C.'s Victorino Sugoi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Estavan was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Lucero during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Amaná FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Eusebio Lucero hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Roberto Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matera F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Couto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorino Sugoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Hector Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Estavan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Couto in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Estavan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Amaná FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matera F.C. were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Roberto Couto made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, Matera F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Victorino Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Coutos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Hector Estavan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Victorino Sugoi came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Matera F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Sugoi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Amaná FC's zone, Roberto Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Estavan came out of the goal and Roberto Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eusebio Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Faustino Ondino fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matera F.C.'s protests and gave Faustino Ondino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Faustino Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Estavan having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amaná FC's goalkeeper Hector Estavan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Etor's late challenge caught a Matera F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximino Etor helped the player get up and apologised.
