In the 8th minute of the match, Jaime Raymundo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baldomero Roldan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tambillos FC's Isidoro Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Goren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Baldomero Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, one of AMÉRICA SUR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 32 minutes in the game, Jaime Raymundo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baldomero Roldan having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Jaime Raymundo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos FC's zone, Marcos Corderro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Jakue came out of the goal and Marcos Corderro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidoro Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Corderro to make the kick off. Marcos Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos FC's zone, Alfredo Aballe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Jakue came out of the goal and Alfredo Aballe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Aballe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gualterio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Roldan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Raymundo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Marcos Corderro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AMÉRICA SUR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Corderro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tambillos FC had played much better football throughout.
