If Rogelio Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Basajaun during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ermegildo Basajaun kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gualterio Jakue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Iban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Igor Gai hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Tambillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Guillelmo came free, but Gualterio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes Tambillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Neto. In the 33rd match minute, La banda del Matadero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Raymond to maneuver through the defense. Igor Gai kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. A collision led to Tambillos FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ermegildo Basajaun hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Antonio Guillelmo made the kick off in the second half. Angel Eguerdi charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angel Eguerdi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tambillos FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Angel Eguerdi hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Tambillos FC defense, Rogelio Eliazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Jakue. The Tambillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Jakue should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute of the match, Lucas Iban tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gualterio Jakue saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ubaldo Ramirez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The supporters of Tambillos FC booed when La banda del Matadero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Jaime Raymundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th match minute, Tambillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Pio to maneuver through the defense. If Rogelio Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Eliazar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gualterio Jakue firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77thth minute of the game Isidoro Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La banda del Matadero's Ubaldo Ramirez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gualterio Jakue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Eliazar went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Igor Gai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La banda del Matadero's Roque Liberto was substituted for Rogelio Eliazar. La banda del Matadero's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
