Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erasmo Obano kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Obano in the 3rd minute of play forced bostex's goalkeeper Ernesto Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. bostex's Ernesto Florian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save bostex from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the game, Alejandro Kusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Formosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave bostex the free kick. Constantino Norino shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of bostex booed when Formosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Sendoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Aznaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Alonzo Aznaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of bostex booed when Formosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Sendoa having to interfere. Formosa's Manuel Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Aznaro in the 20th minute of play. If Erasmo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of bostex booed when Formosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Manilan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Aznaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Manuel Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moises Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Roberto Guib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alonzo Aznaro was the one to do the kick off. If Moises Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Virgilio Chepe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Florian was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Virgilio Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Florian having to interfere. Ernesto Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Obano in the 64th minute of play. Moises Ascencio's late challenge caught a bostex's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Ascencio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Moises Ascencio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joaquin Dino fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formosa's protests and gave Joaquin Dino a yellow card for diving instead. Virgilio Chepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Florian having to interfere. If Erasmo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, bostex's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Obano came free, but Ernesto Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in bostex's zone, Erasmo Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Florian came out of the goal and Erasmo Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Virgilio Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Florian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erasmo Obano came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Formosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Obano couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Formosa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
