Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felix Lluis made the kick off which started today's match. Aristides Monico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Domeka in the 6th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Baradero Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Amaya. In the 8th match minute, C.A. Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Theobald to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Eate got free with Arsenio Barrionuevo in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Lluis during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Fidel Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Baradero Futbol Club defense, Felix Lluis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Monico. The Baradero Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Monico should have stopped the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Diegotxe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Independiente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baradero Futbol Club the free kick. Edelmiro Diegotxe kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Aristides Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Domeka, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Fidel Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arsenio Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Independiente's zone, David Eate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Barrionuevo came out of the goal and David Eate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Eate recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Theobald in the 38th minute of play forced Baradero Futbol Club's goalkeeper Aristides Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Monico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. David Eate did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Arsenio Barrionuevo 45 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Fidel Ekain made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Adrio during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mariano Adrio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Baradero Futbol Club's Ovidio Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aristides Monico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Theobald in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Felix Lluis took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aristides Monico to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, Baradero Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Lluis came free, but Aristides Monico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aristides Monico made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Baldomiro Domeka sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Independiente's Esteban Iratzeder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Monico. That made the score 1-3 after 69 minutes of play. David Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute, Fidel Ekain ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arsenio Barrionuevo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Lluis in the 79th minute of play forced Baradero Futbol Club's goalkeeper Aristides Monico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Esteban Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Monico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fidel Ekain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baradero Futbol Club's Aristides Monico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Baradero Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. Aristides Monico made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ariel Theobald sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Esteban Iratzeder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aristides Monico, 2-4. Aristides Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Iratzeder in the 96th minute of the match. C.A. Independiente's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
